Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil…
Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness…
Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!
Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and clever in their own sight!
Woe to those who are heroes in drinking wine and valiant men in mixing strong drink,
Who justify the wicked for a bribe and take away the rights of the ones who are in the right! [1]
Are you finding that things in life that used to be good are now tainted with evil? Is the light of your life gradually turning dark? Are sweet things becoming bitter? Those hardships are far too prevalent nowadays.
Where do you go for wisdom? A close friend, a relative or colleague from work? How about considering the Bible, the word of God? The Bible offers guidance for all areas of life regardless of age or status in life. Daily we live with forecasts like how the weather will be? Will the market be up or down? Will I get that new job or raise in pay that I asked for? How about the consideration of where you’ll be spending eternity? Whose wisdom do you trust for that one? Think you can accomplish that on your own? Don’t count on it! Don’t be trusting the wrong heroes in your life, valiant ones who entertain and amuse you. Put your trust in the ONLY One worth trusting – the Lord Jesus Christ. He provided for you long before you ever knew about Him! Get to know Him today before it is too late…
Trust the only One who can secure your today and your tomorrow – eternally! He takes no bribes, He preserves your right to decide. He never forces your will – the choice is yours and yours alone. The decision of a lifetime awaits you!
Grab it while you can.
“He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”
John 3:36
